What I do: I'm Chris, I make five <a href="http://chrismarquardt.com/podcasts" target="_blank">podcasts about photography</a>. Happy Shooting, Absolut analog, The Future of Photography, WRINT Fotografie (which I co-host) and of course Photography Tips from the Top Floor. What I'm asking for: I'm asking you to support each episode of Tips from the Top Floor with a little voluntary contribution. It starts with as little as $1 and it will help me continue to do what I love doing. What you get: In return you will get early access to new episodes of TFTTF whenever possible. Why I'm asking for support: Your contribution affords me to take time from my paid work and spend longer on making quality content. And don't forget that warm fuzzy feeling that you get when you're doing something good. Also, chipping in is not just for yourself, but for those out there who might not have the means for financial support. If a dollar an episode is within your means, it would make it easier for me to justify the time and work that I put into making these recordings. I'll use your contributions to take time out of my client work to make more podcasts. I will use that time to do research to answer your questions, to sit down and write for the episodes, to schedule guests, to do the actual recoridngs, to edit the episodes. All that takes time and effort, and probably a bit more than you imagine. How I will use your contribution: I will use your contributions to keep my equipment up-to-date, like this microphone that I paid out of my own pocket. I will use your contributions to bring you more content from when I travel. I will use your contributions to cover some of my travel expenses, like the trip to the Rochester Institute of Technology. I will use your contributions to pay for the high-speed hosting that brings all of that content to you as quick as possible. And of course the main thing this is about is to help enable me to bring you good and interesting content about photography. In the form of the occasional video, the occasional blog post but most important in the form of regular podcasts. Because that's probably why you're here.
